Open Question: Thinking about getting a diesel?

Hi. I don't haul heavy loads or a fifth wheel. I simply love trucks. I'd like to invest in a diesel truck with two major concerns, fuel econemy, and dependability (as in it shouldn't have common repairs or replacements). I plan on using the truck as an everyday vehicle and I drive about an hour and half to and from work. Something newer than 2000 and can be modded. My research concludes to stay away from powerstroke, stick with a pre 2004.5 dodge, or a 06-07 duramax lbz/lb7. Other opinions?... Read More »
